Healthy brown rice breakfast... an alternative for oatmeal

Healthy Brown Rice Breakfast

A tasty alternative to oatmeal.


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup brown rice
  • 1/4 cup soy milk
  • 1/2 tspn cinnamon
  • 1 tbls dried cranberries or raisins
  • 1 tspn sliced almonds
  • 1 tbls maple syrup
Preparation:
  1. Combine 1/2 cup brown rice with 1/4 cup soy milk, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tbls dried cranberries or raisins, 1 tspn. sliced almonds and 1 tbls maple syrup in a saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium heat.
